My client is a very well-established and prominent specialist retail group. To support continued growth they are seeking a start hire with previous experience heading up finance function reporting into business leadership.
This role will oversee the accounts team (AP and Office Assistant) in the day-to-day management of accounts and be called upon to be a trusted adviser to the business on financial and administrator matters;
- Internal management reporting and analysis of landlord reporting, P&L, cash-flow and provision of commentary
- Oversee all aspects of the businesses' property investments (tax, rates, leases)
- Sign-off of payment runs
- Fortnightly payroll for HO (approx 15 staff) and Payroll tax compliance
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- General duties e.g., financial record keeping, insurances and FX
The business is growing and there will be the added opportunity for this role and it's remit to grow for the right individual, with flexible pathways in finance, analysis or business management .
Relevant studies (tafe or higher) in Accounting and/or business will be well regarded
