Our client is a privately owned Farm Machinery dealership group with numerous branches across various states.
Built on the foundation of providing the highest level of service to their customers, this business has some exciting new changes in the works and lots of growth potential to take them even further.
About the role
Due to ongoing growth we are looking for a motivated Company Accountant to join our client's dynamic team located in the northern suburbs of Perth.
This position will report directly to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for providing assistance across all areas of the finance department.
The role is all about having the right attitude and drive, you will be a team player who is keen to grow your career in a friendly, supportive, busy and diverse environment. This business is growing and with a few recent acquisitions, they need hungry employees that want to grow with it.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
Preparation of financial and management reports for distribution to senior management
Daily cashflow management and reporting
Daily bank reconciliations
Monthly tax and compliance reporting
Preparation and lodgement of company business activity statements
Providing on-going financial support to all branches across various states
To be successful you will have:
Completed an Accounting/Finance degree and hold a relevant CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
An eagerness to learn and grow
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
Outstanding organisational and time management skills
On offer is a base salary around $100k - $110k plus superannuation. This package is negotiable for the right candidate.
