Kingfisher Labour Hire is currently recruiting for a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance and Conditions Auditor to join our team. Our client is engaged in a critical project involving the refurbishment and remodelling of multiple government buildings. These sites, predominantly offices and depots, totalling about 23 locations, are spread across the north-west regional areas including Benalla, Kilmore, Golden Square, Kyneton, Avoca, Wendouree, Horsham, Swan Hill, and more.Scope of Work:As a Compliance and Conditions Auditor, your role will comprise comprehensive data capture exercise covering all building fabric and maintainable assets across these sites. This includes but is not limited to capturing operational zones, barcode scanning assets, identifying defects (both building and compliance-related), and compiling detailed reports for our client. These reports will be instrumental in supporting a business case for the remodelling of these depots. Notably, recent pilot audits have revealed significant deficiencies, underlining the urgency and importance of this project.Responsibilities:– Conduct full data capture of building fabric and maintainable assets.– Generate defect registers encompassing building and compliance defects.– Provide detailed reports, including PM activities, capital expenditure planning, and maintenance planning.– Identify operational zones and photograph defects for documentation.– Liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the auditing process.– Work efficiently alongside a team to ensure timely completion of audits.Requirements:– Physically fit and capable of working at a fast pace.– Experience in asset audits and data capture, preferably in commercial settings.– Familiarity with HVAC systems, switchboards, EWIS systems, FIPs, TMVs, and backflow valves.– Strong understanding of compliance standards such as Australian Standards (AS1851, AS2293) and the National Construction Code (NCC).– Ability to confidently identify non-compliant elements in line with standards and regulations.– Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.– Prior experience in building surveying or related fields is advantageous.Immediate Start Opportunity:The role offers an immediate start for the right person, allowing you to quickly immerse yourself in this crucial project and make a tangible impact from day one.Interview Expectations:During the interview process, you will be assessed based on your demonstrated expertise and knowledge relevant to asset audits and compliance.
