YOUR ROLE
A great opportunity exists for major projects, infrastructure and construction lawyers at all levels to join our growing team in Canberra. We are looking for candidates with front end experience. This work involves early stage advisory work in structuring major projects as well as drafting and negotiation for major development and infrastructure projects and general construction matters. There are also a range of broader property, planning, and environment advisory elements which are connected with the significant precinct development projects which are in progress.
WHAT YOU NEED
We welcome applications from lawyers of all levels. Ideally, you will have major projects, infrastructure or construction experience and are looking to cement your career in our market leading practice. For more experienced lawyers, in addition to your legal knowledge, you will have an ability to manage strong client relationships, complex transactions and guide and mentor a large pool of talented junior lawyers.
You will also have:
- a commercial approach;
- a willingness to work across the project lifecycle;
- superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail;
- the ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment;
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
- a commitment to excellence that matches our own.
