This award winning business was established in 1966 and since then has built a highly reputable company in the swimming pool industry. Due to this rapid growth they want to expand their team and bring on an experienced Construction Pool Labourer.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a full-time experienced labourer to join an established team of down to earth good blokes. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager who is very hands on and comes with well over a decade of experience himself. You will be working with a team who understand that open communication, running on time and their reliability sets them apart from their competition. This position requires the incumbent to have extensive technical, trade and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include but not be limited to:
Initiate problem solving methodologies and tools to find root cause of problems
- Facilitate the efficient day-to-day running of the construction aspect of the business
- Participate in communication for daily toolbox / safety meeting
Work closely with and under the direction of the Team Leaders/ Supervisors
Skills & experience
Experience in different trade base skill sets; Carpentry, Plumbing, Steel Fix, Concreting, Excavations, Labouring.
Experience in the pool industry would be highly advantageous!
Australian Driver's License
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work autonomously
Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job

While the environment is described as cruisy, the whole team "rips in" together to get the job done but has a good time doing it. It's a relaxed environment but everyone works hard and helps each other. Standard business working hours and plenty of overtime opportunities!
Benefits
Depending on experience, this role comes with an hourly rate of between $30 - $38p/h + Super + Overtime rates & EBA rates. Due to the immense workload there is definitely opportunities to progress into an "off the tools" role in the future for the right person.
