Having a large portfolio of works with a focus on wind, solar PV and BESS projects this developer are looking to build a best in class team to support this large influx of work.
About the Role
This role is responsible for the safe delivery of larges utility scales projects, from the late stage development phase, through construction stage and up to handover to Operations; including, detail design, procurement, setup, construction, testing, commissioning, closeout and final hand over to operations.
Responsibilities
Development of the Construction Strategy
Provide Construction Management and delivery input into the late stage development, including assisting the preparation of final capital budgets and construction schedules, providing input into key subcontract scopes and contracts
Lead site coordination meetings to ensure a common understanding of the site issues, and priorities
Providing leadership to the site management team, including development, performance management, mentoring
Developing and managing project communications at all levels.
Maintaining a comprehensive and well-organised set of project records.
Managing project Quality in all areas
Managing project HSE compliance
Leadership of safety in all project areas.
Skills & Experience
Project Management qualification
10+ years Utility scale project management experience. Experience in managing BESS projects is preferred.
Demonstrated capacity to build and lead project teams
A high level of interpersonal skills
Experience in managing multiple and complex projects.
Demonstrated capacity to develop and manage relationships to ensure outcomes are achieved as harmoniously as possible.
