About the Opportunity
In the PwC Private Consulting team, you’ll find yourself in a culture that values innovation and a client centric focus. Alongside your peers, you’ll solve problems which broadly fall into one of five focus areas; (1) Strategic planning, (2) Operations, (3) Team and Culture, (4) Clients and Markets, and (5) Finance transformation. You'll use your skills in these areas to make an impact with your clients, in the industries they operate within.
We are currently seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants to join our Private Consulting team where your contribution will consist of:
Participating in collaborative design sessions and assisting your clients to develop their strategic business plans, helping them to solve important problems and overcome key strategic challenges
Building and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders to deliver impactful and meaningful change
Performing detailed analysis and extracting insights from complex data
Leveraging data and research to answer key strategic challenges facing your clients
Working with digital tools to enable rapid data-driven insights and solutions for your clients
Working alongside your peers and fellow team members, providing coaching and developing other team members where appropriate
Generating efficient and realistic project plans
Project management of projects or key work streams in major projects (appropriate for your grade)
Having input into new business propositions to support the ongoing growth and development of our business, working alongside senior colleagues
The primary skills you’ll need to hit the ground running in our PwC Private Consulting team are:
Minimum 1-2 years (Consultant) and 3 years’ (Senior Consultant) experience in Management Consulting, Professional Services, or related corporate experience
Creativity, adaptability and business acumen appropriate for your grade and experience to drive the development of deliverable subsections and build strong client relationships
Superb written and oral communication with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation, internally and externally. You are organised, structured and can manage multiple streams of work in parallel.
Collaborative mindset and passion for working in a dynamic consulting environment. You’re a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders. Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of business financials
Ability to perform hypothesis-driven analyses accurately with oversight and input from more senior team members where appropriate
To solve important problems we need to aim for the inclusion of our diverse talent. We empower our people to use their creativity, authenticity and human differences to be the champions of change. We know that when people from diverse backgrounds and with different points of view work together, we create the most value - for our clients, our people and our society. If you don’t think you quite meet all of the qualifications, we’d still love to hear from you.
