We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, proactive Consumer Insights Manager to join the Dairy team 3 days per week. Based in Rhodes Sydney, with a hybrid work environment we currently have a part-time position for a Consumer Insights Manager on our Milo & Dairy portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Insights, this role has a remit across Australia and New Zealand with the world class brand, Milo, at the forefront of the business.
Delivering on the strategy, the role will support the generation of consumer insights that will drive demand creation opportunities - covering locally developed communication, local innovation pipeline and local strategy. You will be an embedded part of the vibrant Dairy team as well as have the collaboration of the insights team - the best of both worlds.
The Consumer Insights Manager is expected to be a thought leader within the Dairy division and provoke healthy debate on internally held perceptions and frameworks around consumer/shopper behaviour to best position Nestle for growth.
Responsibilities
- Implement Methods and Tools to build the knowledge base to support internal stakeholders to understand the target consumer and support their Consumer knowledge agenda
- Effectively define, plan & implement an annual research program across consumer & Shopper to address anticipated information needs of the business
- Conduct consumer, shopper, retail, product, media, competitive and customer analysis to support business with relevant data, information, and insights
- Work together with Brand Builders on the consumer related activities for the brand aligned to the agreed upon strategy supporting the decision makers.
- Synthesise consumer and shopper understanding from diverse sources, uncover insights and connect the dots to input into business and brand strategy
- Proactively organise and facilitate brand strategy and innovation workshops as needed
- Degree qualification in Marketing is a plus
- Demonstrated industry experience in Insights & Research Management is preferred
- Agency plus Client-side experience will be well regarded
- Excellent understanding and application of consumer research methodologies
- Excellent understanding of marketing strategy and brand building in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to add value to research process, translating consumer insights into implications
- Excellent communicator - championing insights whilst working in a team
