Job description
We have an opportunity for a Business Lending Consultant to join the team. You will be responsible for supporting customers in a Contact Centre environment via inbound/outbound calls with existing Small Business Lending enquiries and processes while balancing team, customer, risk and performance outcomes.
This is a permanent role based in Brisbane. Operating hours between 8am – 5:30pm.
Offering Monday – Friday (no weekend work).
Work life balance allowing flexibility to work from home.
What you’ll do:
Respond to incoming calls from Business Banking customers
Complete follow-up tasks that require Outbound calls to Business Banking customers
Deliver exceptional customer experiences
Work within a quality driven and compliant environment
Manage complaints within required timeframes, policy and procedures.
Collaborate across channels to meet customer needs.
Identify opportunities to refer additional products to suit our customer's needs
Contribute to a team culture that is balanced across people, customer, risk and performance
You’ll be accountable for maintaining high data quality standards by ensuring information captured in Suncorp’s systems and documentation are correct and maintained in a timely manner
Accountable for operating responsibly within the parameters of your approved delegations
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and external requirements, including legislative requirements such as Privacy and FSRA as well as the Underwriting Guidelines
What you’ll bring:
Previous banking customer service/sales experience would be desirable
Experience with a contact centre environment or an operational/support role preferred
High level computer literacy and navigation skills
Experience in delivering high quality customer experience within required timeframes.
Demonstrated ability to use customer and commercial acumen to enhance overall performance across people, customer and risk measures
Good problem solving and negotiation skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
Committed to self-development and opportunities to increase capability in role
Demonstrated ability to work within a compliance environment
