Container Controller

At our operations depot in Clayton, we are now looking for an experienced Container Controller to work with the team based at the branch. The operations area of the branch is a fast paced environment, reporting to the State Operations Manager this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a large organisation that will support you to achieve a long-term career. As an Operational support to the Operations Manager, some of what you will be doing:Planning & scheduling of all container movements into and out of the depot warehouseManagement of all Rail/Wharf related bookingsMonthly operational reporting requirementsContractor invoicing managementInduction/onboarding assistanceClient and third party enquiriesFleet maintenance/managementOnsite OHS requirementsAbout you:You will have experience in;Scheduling within Road Transport or related environmentsSupervising a frontline operational team, preferably within Removals or FreightAbility to build and develop long term business relationshipsWell developed computer skills using MS suiteProven history of commitment to provide exceptional customer serviceYou may not fit the requirements 100% but that's ok, we focus on training and development.
