You’ll be working in our Distribution Services Group, a fast paced, dynamic and rewarding operational environment, where we work together to ensure essential water and sanitation services are delivered to our customers and community day in day out. We do this through high quality asset management practices, operational resilience, great partnerships, and highly responsive customer service delivery.
The role
Reporting to the Manager, Reactive Maintenance,
the purpose of the role is to manage maintenance contracts and maintenance activities. This includes monitoring yearly budget performance as set by the business, ensuring contract partners have a focus on safety, working with stakeholders internally and externally, meeting customer commitments, continuous improvement & work quality.
Responsibilities
Manage contract requirements and provide business support to our maintenance partners
Support crew & sub-contractor tool box meetings focusing on field performance, compliance, environment, safety and process continuous improvement
Manage monthly reporting and analysis for associated contracts commercial business and customers performance. Provide monthly contract and budget reports or as required by the business.
Implementing improvement strategies to achieve performance KPI’s, ensuring works are carried out in line with contractual specifications and support improvement in business and service delivery
Proactively monitor changes to costs, quality and work completion times
Provide education support for YVW staff who interact with delivery partners
Provide opportunities for involvement and collaboration with delivery partners & YVW business units to deliver strategic outcomes, that focusses on providing exemplary customer service & supports environmental impact awareness and mitigation.
Management of capital and operational budgets
Skills and Experience
Preferably 5 years’ experience within project and or contract management
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated Contract and or supply chain partnering management experience
Demonstrated experience with managing / supporting negotiations & resolving issues, and with a good level of data analysis skills
Strong communication skills to provide clarity and insight to senior management and stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including excellent writing skills and attention to detail

This full-time role is classified as an Officer Level 4.1 to 4.3 $103,494.47 to $109,440.91 per annum dependent on experience, plus 11% superannuation
