About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships and contractual arrangements with an assigned portfolio of hospital and medical Providers. You will deliver strategies, tactics and lead negotiations of commercial contracts with hospital groups, individual hospitals, diagnostic service providers, medical specialists and providers of services intended to substitute for hospital treatment (Providers).
Key responsibilities
Establish communication protocols to ensure strong business relations are fostered, appropriately maintained and managed with Providers.
Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with key stakeholders to ensure continuous engagement.
Develop strategies in response to Providers pain points, strategic objectives and tactics to achieve best outcome during negotiations.
Actively pursue agreements with hospitals for inclusion in the hospital network.
Develop and implement appropriate contract management strategies to ensure adherence to terms and conditions and assist in the monitoring of service scope and benefit outlays are appropriately monitored.
Assist in the development of audit programs to ensure the continuous monitoring of the Providers compliance with its obligations and responsibilities under the agreement with HCF.
Ensure the maintenance of contractual records and documentation, including the receipt and control of all correspondence.
About You
Tertiary qualification in business, law, health management and/or extensive contract and relationship management experience.
Extensive experience with contract management at an executive management level.
Demonstrated experience in designing and managing performance management frameworks to ensure appropriate ongoing monitoring of agreements with Providers.
Excellent internal stakeholder management and a collaborative approach to ensuring business success.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including the proven capacity to build collaborative, trust based relationships.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with senior executive on leading the implementation of complex change programs.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey a coherent argument through the delivery of reports and presentations.
