We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities Director to join the team as our Contract Manager on site for the Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison (EGRP) in Kalgoorlie. The role is responsible for the overall day to day management of the building and has responsibility for sub- contractor management, maintenance under the contract, customer reporting, risk management, monitoring of procedures, meeting contractual reporting requirements as well as managing the safety of building occupants and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- In support of operations, Honeywell, as the day to day onsite facility manager, delivers a comprehensive suite of hard and soft services
- Provide on-site management of specific facilities so that contractual commitments are met including accreditation requirements
- Manage and be responsible for staff and contractors on site
- Ensure all planned and essential services maintenance is performed, documented, audited and form 10 completed
- Ensure safety of staff and public using the facility
- Essential Services Documentation and preventive maintenance reporting
- Project and renewal management
- Contract Profitability and Financial management, forecasting and reporting
- Customer communications – including contracted reports
- Site Administration duties
Key Experience and Capabilities:
- Must have (or be working towards) tertiary or post trade qualifications in business, facility management or a related discipline or demonstrate equivalent level of experience
- And / or post trade / degree qualification in relevant area
- General building maintenance and trade knowledge
- Strong understanding in Mechanical/Electrical systems
- Facility Management experience in commercial sector (essential) and high- profile buildings
- Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information
- Sub-Contractor management
- Financial accountability and reporting
- Ability to understand, interpret and comply with contracts and contractual requirements
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Good communication - both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
