We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join a specialist in the design, construction and maintenance of large-scale fabricated steel tanks and associated works together with piping and pressure pipe spooling for the oil, gas petrochemical and water industries.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Reviewing contracts and agreements at the tender stage to ensure they comply with legal and regulatory requirements and align with the company's policies and procedures.
- Assist the Estimating team as and when required in the tendering process including internal recommendations in line with Company processes and procedures
- Ensuring internal stakeholders in the project understand the terms and conditions of the contract, and that they comply with these terms throughout the project lifecycle
- Head Contract administration (upstream) including assisting in the preparation, quantification and submission of contractual correspondence and claims for variations and extensions of time, as well as other claims for time and cost
- Support in managing the project registers including Correspondence register, Variation Register and other records.
- Work with project teams and finance team in preparation and submission of Progress Claims, invoicing and reconciliation and resolution of any unapproved amounts advised in the Client's Payment Certifications
- Participate in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers (downstream) including drafting Contracts (in line with Head Contract requirements) for requests for tender, internal recommendations and awarding subcontractor/supply agreements in line with Company processes and procedures.
- Subcontract administration (downstream) including assessment of interim and final payment claims, preparing payment schedules, assessment of claims for variation and extensions of time, as well as other claims for time and cost.
- Assist with dispute management.
- Undertake on-going review of active contracts to assess progress of deliverables, variations, disputes and cashflow position
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field
- Commercial, procurement and/or tendering experience
- High level of computer literacy, with demonstrable high level of understanding in procurement systems & processes
- High level of planning, organisational, communication and report writing skills
