Key Responsibilities of the Role:
As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the management and performance of all administrative functions and maximising the profitability of the projects in Sydney and regional NSW.This is your opportunity to develop a challenging and exciting career path with an industry leader. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assist in the negotiations of head contract conditions.
Oversee the timely issue of cost reports, current position of subcontractors, subcontract agreements, and insurance policies.
Oversee subcontract negotiations, letting values and budget conformance for each subcontract.
Role Requirements:
The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of Contracts Administration, and ideally have a tertiary background in Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management, or a related discipline.
You will also possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing, and negotiating skills.
Have a proven track record in delivering results in a high pressured environment.
Strong background in Contract management within Construction
4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
Strong managerial and administrative skills
In-depth understanding and experience of commercial Construction projects
