Control Room Operator - Defence SA - Wilson Security

The Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Control Room Operators who are Australian Citizens with a current Security Licence and are looking to transition into the Defence side of the industry. A background in Defence is ideal, and Transport or Construction would also be well regarded.
- Full-Time roles available once Government Clearance is approved
- We can assist with the process of obtaining a Baseline or NV1 clearance, however, a Security Licence is a must.
- Roles based in Metropolitan Adelaide
If you already hold a Defence Clearance, Wilson Security is offering up to a $2000 bonus as follows:
- NV1 | $250 after 3 months, $750 after 6 months, and $1000 after 12 months
- Baseline | $250 after 3 months, $500 after 6 months, and $500 after 12 months
- Ability and desire to obtain and maintain a high-level clearance;
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated Access Control systems knowledge
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)
- Experience in Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and associated equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be a lateral thinker in solving issues that may arise
- Have an understanding of communication lines and chain of command
- Have an understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols including fire systems
- Protect and maintain security & integrity of building and infrastructure
- Submit electronic or paper incident and hazard reports
- Be well presented and well-spoken
- Have good IT skills
- MUST be an Australian Citizen to obtain AGSVA clearance
- Hold a current SA Security Licence
- Hold a current SA Driver's Licence
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate
