AddressWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineering Manager to be accountable for the successful delivery of SICE's Plant Management Control System (PMCS) solution for various tunnel projects across the ANZ region, leading the PMCS team activities with the support of the project PMCS Leads from the design stage, software development and customisation of standard code, to testing and commissioning, ensuring all works are completed to an appropriate level of quality for the stage and within time and budget.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will hold:
- Formal qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Systems, electronic or electrical/mechanical engineering, Information Technology engineering or similar;
- Over 5 years of experience in functional design, development, integration and delivery of OMCS, PMCS and TMCS technology within ITS/tunnel projects
- Extensive experience with Rockwell PLCs and RIOs: PLC Logix55xx, RIO FLEX I/O, CompactLogix PLCs, Studio 5000, etc
- Extensive knowledge of Industrial HLIs: Modbus, Ethernet IP, BackNet, DeviceNet, etc
- Strong knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, test processes and strategies such as AS/NZS 12207 Systems and software engineering – Software life cycle processes; AS/NZS ISO/IEC 15288:2013 Systems and software engineering - System life cycle processes; AS 61508 Functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems; and AS 4071 Software project management plans.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage large engineering teams are essential.
