Form of workWe invite you to join our Global IT and business consultancy in this mid-level PCD Integrity engineering role offering mentoring, training and development. Working with a prestigious oil and gas client, you will provide support for the configuration and maintenance of Process Control Systems in the Operational Technology environment. This is a highly autonomous role based on site (Perth) and offshore, on a 3:3:3 rotation.
This is a 12-month term employment opportunity, where you will receive leave entitlements, generous offshore uplift and other employee benefits.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor, support, back up, and maintain servers, network, and communication equipment
- Understand and apply security policies and measures
- Pro-actively review security logs, report and escalate security incidents or violations
- Implement/follow change management in accordance with the client's governance procedures
- Manage antivirus solutions and perform security updates
- Develop, maintain and execute any site-specific procedures required to maintain PCD security compliance, by applying required security and critical approved patches / firmware updates.
- Facilitate system and user access to applications and systems through Client's proprietary
- Ensure Disaster Recovery plans are up to date and regularly tested for completion
- Ensure asset registers on all Process Control Domain equipment and applications are maintained
- Ensure interfaces are clearly defined and documented
- 5 + years' experience working in corporate or enterprise IT, providing support in different environments (e.g. Test, UAT, Dev, Prod, DR.)
- OT & IT knowledge and experience across Windows and Microsoft Office environments
- Familiarity with security measures to protect corporate and operational environments
- Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification preferred
- Knowledge of End Point security packages such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee
- Knowledge / experience with Microsoft WSUS
- Ability to Interpret Process Control Domain IT Security standards and communicate
- Assess and handle issues / problems including handling Security Incidents
- Install and troubleshoot software for monitoring and managing PCD IT Security
- Ability to analyse problems and interpret operational needs
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Proficient communication & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team to ensure effective delivery of support services
- Experience working on offshore platforms preferred, but not essential, and a willingness
- Full permanent work rights for Australia required.
