Qualifications & experience
- Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
- 2 to 5 year experience in cooking in a busy restaurant, preferably in Nepali or Indian restaurants.
Tasks & responsibilities
- cooking delicious food as per menu and recipes outlined by management.
- Serving orders and coordinating with the team to deliver quality food and standards at all times.
- Communicating and coordinating with floor staff.
- Keep the kitchen clean at all times and adhere to food safety standards.
- Opening and closing Kitchen.
- Must be able to handle multiple dockets in the kitchen. Be able to handle work pressure and work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
- Have good teamwork and communication skills and work in a multicultural work environment.
