About the Company
Join a Non-for-Profit organisation located in Mile End, SA who are responsible for delivering a broad range of services aimed at ensuring a sustainable Primary Health Care workforce for rural SA.
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time temporary Coordinator for an initial three-month contract with a view for permanency. The broad purpose of the position is to support the delivery services to rural communities through the provision of a visiting workforce, including medical, nursing and allied health professionals. You will establish effective working relationships with relevant local stakeholders and will work collaboratively with providers and local host practices. You will support Program Manager in the implementation of new services and service expansion.
Duties
Engage with local health providers to integrate outreach services within local health services
Assist local health services with strategies to improve coordination of outreach clinics
Support health services to ensure effective coordination of referral pathways for access to specialist services
Engage with host services to determine support requirements to enable effective delivery of services
Maintain records for the services within the database
Manage reports
Skills & Experience
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Working with Children Check
Willing to occasionally travel rurally
Demonstrated experience in working with health organisations and services
Demonstrated experience in working in complex environments and delivering outcomes
Experience in managing service delivery and health workforce management
MS Suite Office suite of programs
