The Team
The position of Coordinator, Metropolitan Melbourne forms a part of the Sport and Recreation Victoria branch within the Sport, Recreation and Racing group.
Sport, Recreation and Racing (SRR) is comprised of Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV) and the Office of Racing. SRV aims to create greater sport and active recreation participation opportunities for all Victorian's in order to maximise economic, social and health benefits and enhance Victoria's liveability.
The Role
This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of projects funded through Sport and Recreation Victoria's community sport and recreation infrastructure investment programs.
The position works with stakeholders, predominantly Local Government Authorities to support the development and delivery of project investments by the Victorian Government. Further, these investments are underpinned by contract management tasks that require attention to detail and stakeholder engagement.

Key accountabilities: * Liaise with and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, in particular, Local Government Authorities in relation to community sport and recreation infrastructure and development projects.
- Undertake a range of administrative tasks associated with the development, management and administration of funded projects to ensure the achievement of program outcomes and contract requirements. This includes but not limited to timely preparation of briefings, correspondence, reports and information for a range of projects funded through Sport and Recreation Victoria.
- Undertake research and analysis of project related issues to provide information and support to program staff and Departmental Executive.
