The Coordinator Service Optimisation Program will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and assessment of a corporate approach to the review of Council services and service optimisation.
To be successful you will use engagement data to understand community needs, review business operations to identify levels of service and undertake costs benefit analysis to develop opportunities for service optimisation service reviews and service optimisation. Key to the success of this position is delivering real change management and building relationships across the organisation.
This position requires the incumbent to implement a framework to guide the review of Council services in line with legislated Integrated Planning and Reporting requirements.
We are looking for someone who has hands on experience in this space and will collaboratively develop actions to shift organisational culture. Not only do you understand change management, you have demonstrated experience in achieving business improvement through analysing information and applying effective change management principles.
You will also have the opportunity to utilise your leadership skills through mentoring and leading a direct report.

The package: Commencing salary package circa $107,000 p.a. plus superannuation. A leaseback vehicle will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Full time, 3 year fixed term contract.
