About the role
The Community Strengthening Directorate hasan exciting Band 8, Coordinator role for a leader to work within an excitingand culturally diverse community, in an organisation with a reputation forinvesting in the development of their people.
Reporting to the Manger Safe Active and Connected Communities, you will lead a high-performanceteam to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdergroups. You will play a key role in planning and policy development in sportsand Recreation, as well as working alongside the capital works team to maximumusability of community sporting facilities.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in sports and Recreation and/or related field along with further professional development and demonstrated experience in leading teams
- Experience in strategy planning and policy development
- Demonstrated experience in community-based service delivery
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
