The Role
Supporting the Finance Manager you will be the key qualified accountant on the team responsible for managing the financial matters of the company. You will be assisting in the project management of the construction of their main project. You will help the company develop its operations according to plan.

Duties will include:
Preparing all the ASX statutory reporting including complex consolidations
Coordinate and compile monthly group financial reports and financial analysis
Ensure project accounting process continues to actively support the construction of the mine and port
Assist with the bi-annual audit process
Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
Management of the Fixed Asset book
Tax lodgements including BAS, FBT and working with external corporate tax advisers
Turn your hand to process improvement intitiatives such as automating AP
You will use your expertise to minimize the use of external consultants, keep compliance bills to a minimum and ensure clean audits.

About You
You are an energetic rising star who is hungry to get into an exciting group that is going to grow significantly over the next few years. You have a strong technical accounting background, but equally, have some commercial experience in an operating mining company to provide insights and add value. Ideally, you are CA qualified with some ASX reporting experience. A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience is ideal.
