Form of work Our high-profile client in is looking for an FP&A (Corporate) Accountant on an initial 12-month contract.
Location: Alexandria (hybrid WFH)
Pay rate: $385 per day + super (may be flexible for the right candidate)
Key accountabilities:
Provide accounting for Corporate Business Units, including processing journal entries and preparing account reconciliations, initiating corrective actions as required and following up outstanding balances.
Managing the month end GL close process for Corporate Business Units, which includes linking in with cost centre owners for latest information for such things as prepayments & accruals and updating trackers to budget/forecast.
Preparing the Corporate channel model each month and consolidating the Corporate month end financial result.
Assisting in areas of continuous improvement and identifying further areas of improvement where possible.
Developing strong relationships with corporate cost centre owners.
Assisting in the budget and forecasting processes for Corporate Business Units.
Selection criteria:
Relevant tertiary level qualifications
2+ years’ experience in a similar role
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats
Previous experience with SAP
