The Corporate Affairs Advisor will provide strategic superannuation support to the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager. This will include research on industry trends and regulations, developing informed strategies and liaising with key stakeholders including government entities (state and federal), media, key civil societies (e.g. Unions and peak bodies for housing) and superannuation peak bodies.
This role will involve monitoring of legislative changes and collaboration with internal teams to align superannuation initiatives with HESTA's broader Corporate Affairs objectives. They will also require a proactive approach to anticipate and support in responding to potential challenges for the Fund from a Government and External relations perspective, assist in the development and innovation in setting advocacy strategies and support in communicating effectively across different areas of the business that ultimately contributes to the benefit of our members.
This is a parental leave replacement position and will be offered on a 8 month maximum term basis.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role focused on policy and regulatory issues, preferably in Superannuation. In addition, you will have experience writing and contributing to government submissions, communicating policy issues, exceptional project management skills and demonstrated experience balancing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
