Corporate Finance Analyst

This Company is a leader in the Australian Renewable Energy Transition, supplying majority of the electricity in Tasmania.

Responsibilities, YOU WILL:

• Assist in strategy execution.
• Model and forecast- using the Corporate Financial Model (CFM).
• Provide financial projections for the corporate plan and Board strategy deliberations.
• Produce high quality scenario analysis on the impact of key internal and external variables.
• Take responsibility for own work priorities to ensure accuracy, quality, value, and timeliness of work.
• Provide valuation calculations for acquisitions and divestments, our non-current assets, lease/buy decisions and any other financial valuation work required by the business.
• Assist with business case preparation and review.
• Assist in reviewing business cases and project reporting to optimise our investments to create sustainable business value.

YOU WILL HAVE:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant numerate discipline (Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business). Experience.
• Experience in a Finance related field with a particular focus on discounted cash flow modelling. Capabilities.
• Advanced level Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Analytical, strategic, financial, and organisational skills with experience in managing stakeholder expectations
• A collaborative approach with the ability to build effective partnerships within own team and across the organisation.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant industry legislation, policies, and systems.
• Experience in an Australian energy business.
• A growth mindset.
