Job Summary: Lucent Globe is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Chemist to join our dynamic team. As a Production Chemist, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process of our cleaning and detergent products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, experience in production environments, and a passion for developing high-quality, sustainable products.
Responsibilities:
1. Batch Production: Execute and monitor batch production processes for cleaning and detergent formulations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
2. Quality Control: Conduct routine quality control checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to maintain product consistency and compliance with specifications.
3. Process Optimization: Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to optimize production processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records, logbooks, and quality control reports.
5. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring proper functionality and coordinating routine maintenance as needed.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the production team.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality control, and logistics, to support the overall success of the product development and manufacturing processes.
8. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing role within the cosmetic or cleaning product industry.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and formulations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cleaning and detergent products is a plus.
