Our Delivery Phase Services team is growing, and we are recruiting for a Cost Controls Specialist to work on some significant, multidisciplinary projects in renewables and future energy, closures, hydrogen, and resources. We have vacancies in Perth and Sydney

Reporting to the Functional Lead - Cost & Estimating and supporting the various project managers, this Contract Position will provide cost engineering, cost control and detailed cost analysis. You will utilise the various principles and techniques in cost control, business planning and management science, various data analysis and delivery of report visualisations and forecasts.

This contract position offers great variety of projects, and will see you:
  • Reporting to the Functional Lead, Cost and Estimating provide support to the Project Managers, Project Engineers and Discipline leads in the formation and control of their study and execution budgets, commitments, costs and forecasts.
  • Implement timely change and trend management for cost forecasting purposes
  • Estimate to budget conversion using the GHD Standard Coding structures
  • Prepare and examine comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data for the assigned packages/study or project.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Services Team.
  • Setup Prism G2 for projects fully integrated with P6.
  • Support Project Controls Manager and Project Manager in ad hoc cost engineering requests.
What would you bring to the team?
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience Cost engineering in a design/project/operations environment
  • Exposure in using PRISM Cost module is an advantage.
  • Proven hands-on experience including involvement in major projects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
