Whatever your role at ANZ, you'll be building your future, while helping to build ours.What will your day look like?As a Cost Specialist, your key accountabilities include:Driving continuous improvement of cost processes to extract efficiencies, ensuring the optimisation of controls, management of risks, points of friction and governance obligations are met on an continuous basisDrawing on Cost CoE process experts to build a first class capability in Finance, focusing on best practice cost management and consistency of implementation across all Divisions in collaboration with relevant GPOs.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Ensure management and statutory reporting obligations for cost are adequately metManage the monthly financial close process for Group Technology costs, including finalisation of actuals, PcP & driver based analytical review, Group/Division/BU consolidation activities, management reporting, and balance sheet reconciliationsContribute to and oversee the accurate recording of Divisional and BU investment/project financials and E2E project lifecycle in line with accounting policyDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and key stakeholders within FPM and GPO communitiesBe a positive influence and an integral part of the team including working with the Hub as "one team"Be an advocate for change, and promote 'one way of doing things' by adopting and contributing to the development of BI tools, while standardising processes to help build a better ANZ Finance functionYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
