Level 6/7: $83,130 - $102,937 (pro-rata) + 17% Superannuation

The Counsellor, Mental Health Clinician works as part of local campus teams as well as the wider UOW Student Life team responsible for the coordination and provision of critical incident support, wellbeing, information, welfare and referral across a network of services at UOW and, to expert external services. Specifically the position delivers short and brief mental health interventions, including crisis intervention.
Support and assistance spans the continuum of services from assessment, case management and referral. This role requires excellent knowledge and skills and ability to work through and interpret complex legislative and policy environments to directly assist students. The role will also contribute to a comprehensive and systemic approach to student wellbeing involving the development of prevention programs, training programs, building knowledge and communities and service improvement actions.
