What we are looking for
UNICEF Australia is in search on a Counting House Coordinator to contribute to the impactful work of UNICEF, making a difference in the lives of children around the world. Your day will include
- Facilitate the collection of donations through the Program and manually handling of donations to the Counting House
- Manage the counting and processing of coins and notes, both foreign and domestic, at the Counting House in Mascot
- Supervise volunteers, guiding them in completing assigned tasks
- Support the Counting House Manager by overseeing the supply and distribution over various airports across Australia
- Contribute to the accounting and reporting processes for donations
- Collaborate with QANTAS staff and contractors, aiding in the seamless collection and transfer of donations
- Ensure compliance with Safety & Security Regulations
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate fundraising programs such as Change for Good
- Experience in working in accounting and reporting off site finances
- Effective organisational and time management skills to manage competing work priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Australian drivers' licence
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
