Alfred Health's Public Affairs and Communication group is responsible for the organisation's strategic reputational management ensuring that its brand position and stakeholder relationships contribute to achieving the organisation's long-term goals.
It is a dynamic group that reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and regularly provides advice to the executive suite on issues management, brand development, government and media relations, internal and external communications, community engagement and developing a strong digital presence. There are three main teams within the broader group: External Affairs and Media; Communication and Engagement, and Creative and Digital Services that report to the Director for Public Affairs.
THE ROLE
This is a new and exciting role at Alfred Health to help build a strong connect with our many different stakeholders and communities, through creative and strategic communications. You will bring together our digital and creative experts into one team - Creative and Digital Services - within the broader Public Affairs group. The team's focus is to take the well-established Alfred Health brand to the next level of effectiveness particularly through multimedia, design, photography, video and animation. As an experienced professional you will bring creativity, discipline and skill to the creative design process across Alfred Health and provide a specialised service to Public Affairs group as well as Alfred Health. The role is responsible for six staff members (4.5 EFT) and will report directly into the Director, Public Affairs and Communication.
SKILLS
- Degree in graphic design, marketing or communications.
- 8-10 years+ working in a creative agency or in a creative team.
- 3+ years of team and account management.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and other design and digital asset systems.
