Company: Is the finance company owned by the world's largest automotive manufacturing group. The Australian business has been growing strongly and supports their customers and franchised motor dealer network with Retail finance, Dealer Finance, Fleet Leasing and Insurance products.

Role: Will form part of the credit team who assess and decision all new and used automotive finance applications for both Consumer and Commercial customers, submitted by their national network of franchised motor dealers.
This role will be needing to assess both Consumer and Commercial finance applications using well reasoned credit rationale. All applications are first reviewed by the automated credit engine, so your role will be reviewing the deals that the algorithm cannot approve.
This role will have regular contact with the dealer introducers both refining exisiting applications and confidently selling them your decision along with any additional conditions. You will also be liaising with accountants/employers and other parties to help validate and support your credit decision.
The business is well supported by technology automating much of the routine credit process. This helps identify risks that need to be mitigated so you can focus in on the aspects of the application requiring close attention.
Requirements: We are seeking to discuss this role with applicants who best meet the following skills and experience:
Tertiary qualifications are preferred
Prior lending/credit decisioning experience (consumer or commercial) is essential
Work experience must be in a high volume environment
Strong communications skills liaising with major introducers
