Opera Queensland is looking for a CRM & Ticketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. About the role 

The CRM & Ticketing Coordinator is a key role for our organisation, overseeing the management and delivery of ticketing and box office operations as well as effective and timely reporting. You will dive deep into the data, interrogating segments, looking for trends and supporting targeted marketing campaigns. 

This role will also be a customer-facing role, communicating with ticket holders and VIPs while upholding the values of Opera Queensland.  

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Sales, the key responsibilities of the CRM & Ticketing Coordinator include:

  • Maintaining effective and exceptional customer service to our patrons including VIPs 
  • Maintaining the ticketing and audience data in the CRM, creating segmented lists and analysing audience data to leverage marketing campaigns  
  • Preparing and implementing event ticketing builds 
  • Coordinating on-site Front of House box office operations and attend in person as required 
  • Day-to-day and end of campaign reporting  
  • Coordinating customer loyalty and engagement activity  
  • Maintaining key relationships with Opera Queensland’s ticketing providers

Our ideal candidate

  • A minimum of three years of experience in events management and ticketing
  • Proficiency in of ticketing and CRM software tools, Microsoft Dynamics preferrable.  
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills  
  • The desire to grow and learn in a diverse and engaged marketing team
  • Energetic self-starter with exceptional customer service skills in high pressured and fast paced environments
  • Able to travel regularly and attend events in the evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel and Teams
    Blue card or Necessary Exemption of BlueCard – Working with Children Check
