Bajara Plant Hire is seeking dedicated and experienced Crusher/Screen Operator - Sand Hopper back fill machine, to join our growing team. This role is integral to the success of our business and will play an important role in completion of our client projects and effectiveness of project support.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Completing daily pre starts efficiently.
- Safely assessing work/operating environment prior to operating.
- Coordinate with project staff to understand daily tasks.
- Daily greasing and upkeep of your machine.
- Closely monitoring your machine performance daily and reporting any issues that may arise during the day.
- Operate all plant and equipment safely and within the machine's capabilities.
- Raising any issues or concerns immediately with your site supervisor and Bajara management.
- Supporting Bajara colleagues onsite.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with operators, clients and suppliers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the quarry/mining/civil construction/general construction industry.
- RII Tickets for respective plant and equipment
- Construction Induction Card (White card).
- Good knowledge of mobile plant safety.
- Own reliable transport.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in all locations and adapt to long hours and all-weather conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and safely.
