Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Modality Leader CT - AKA, in this role, the CT (Computed Tomography) Business Leader - ANZ is responsible for shaping, implementing and executing CT business strategy for both equipment & service to drive market share gain & profitable growth in ANZ through collaboration with AKA product Managers, Imaging Sales Leaders, and with the Service team.

Job Description

Partner with ANZ Zone Leader to deliver CT Orders, Sales, CM & Market Share. Is the point person for CT modality and the ANZ voice to AKA and Global Modality team to reflect market needs and get their support to win and grow CT business.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and a high volume of travel will be required across Australia and New Zealand.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define & drive sales enablement strategies using product management as the primary lever

  • Developing expertise and product depth in regions

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Product Managers, Product Specialists, Clinical education and marketing teams enabling them to support the sales teams in their region

  • Manage the Product P&L(s) by focusing on key measures of performance namely Revenue, Order and Contribution Margin while staying within allocated base cost budget

  • Demonstrate the ability to generate new business opportunities that leverage GEHC in the marketplace, including partnerships & solutions

  • Defining and developing market segmentation strategies and devising appropriate product positioning plans

  • Evaluate and launch NPIs in a timely manner to the market to capitalize on market demand ahead of competition

  • Be a conduit to the AKA Product Marketing teams, through the region product managers and share region-specific inputs to help bring out products that are customized for the region’s needs

  • Represent GE in all key trade shows & exhibitions and showcase our cutting-edge technologies with a clear aim to provide us with a competitive advantage in the market

  • Drive and implement focused & prioritized business initiatives to trigger Growth by making strategic trade-offs where required

  • In conjunction with country sales teams, create a trusting environment that values teamwork to the overall benefit of customer satisfaction

  • Work towards improving customer satisfaction in all segments while devising & implementing objective ways to measure Customer Satisfaction (E.g. through Surveys, Interview etc.)

  • Develop long term relationship with customers; provide leadership in showcasing newer technologies to customers and creating a ‘pull’ from the market

  • Establish strong relationships at the executive level in key customer accounts and with Key Opinion Leaders

  • Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms

  • Drive employee engagement activities to ensure retention across the zone, recognizing success, sharing best practices, providing exposure to people within the team with senior leaders within the region, products and modalities

  • Performance management and development of resources

  • Owns account teams’ product/service/solution strategy and offerings education

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / advanced degree in engineering / management / related field 10+ years’ experience in Business Management, Product Marketing/Development, OR equivalent years of experience progressive leadership positions within the Healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge of healthcare market Minimum of 10+ years in healthcare industry

  • Demonstrated business management, and resource allocation skills including business plan development

  • Deep knowledge of relevant GE Healthcare products and services offered. Experience in CT modality is highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to work with Global teams to bring out region-specific outcomes

  • Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills

  • Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills

  • Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills

  • High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships.

  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration, and influence at all levels within an organization

  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward thinking and customer-first attitude

  • Strongly compliance driven

  • Demonstrated ability in managing the matrix structure and building effective networks

  • Demonstrated ability to drive & execute rigorous operating mechanisms in GE environment

  • Establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, and customers displaying willingness to understand diverse points of

  • Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region

Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience in managing a matrix organization with multi-cultural teams and multi-markets businesses.

  • Strong track record in high technology, capital equipment product and solution sales.
