The Role

We’ve created an exciting brand new role - Customer Lifecycle Marketing Specialist — to come and join our team at Mindfulness.com.

We want someone who is customer obsessed and loves looking into the complexities of multiple customer journeys to ensure customers have the best experience with the product, leading to customer subscriptions, engagement, and retention.

This is a new permanent full-time role within a start-up. You’ll take the lead on everything customer-led, from developing, implementing, and analyzing the customer marketing calendar to launching new products and events through multiple marketing channels.

You’ll be the person who comes up with ideas to engage and excite the customer base; you’ll then implement these creatively and have final sign-off on all copy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing Mindfulness.comlifecycle stages and create strategic initiatives for each stage of the customer journey which includes onboarding, engagement and retention.
  • Create and refine effective programs that leverage tenure and customer behavior data, and include a mix of triggered, targeted and broad educational campaigns.
  • Identify key, measurable metrics (upsell, churn, etc.) for lifecycle programs encompassing a growth hacker mentality with the ability to test and scale rapidly.
  • Continue to build and refine our brand and ToV for customers across every touchpoint creating a single voice.
  • Deliver creative and copy for multiple comm’s channels across email, push, in-app, website and partner websites.
  • Launch new products and events to the customer base driving upsell, engagement and friend referrals.
  • Build personal relationships with customers across the board to build out case studies, understand why loyalty drops, testimonials and reasons for others to believe in Mindfulness.comwhich can support acquisition.
  • Conceptualize and launch a customer advocacy program and customer community designed to identify and mobilize customers, transforming them into Mindfulness brand ambassadors.
  • Manage external relationships with new and existing brand partners and marketing networks to deliver benefits to the customer base as well as selling external mindful courses and workshops to deliver revenue through an affiliate model
  • Participate in Mindfulness.comsponsored tradeshows, seminars, workshops and events and build face-to-face loyalty and relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Work closely with product and dev to support the development of the product roadmap and new app builds required whilst ensuring a marketing plan is shaped to support timelines for these roadmaps.
  • Support the acquisition team with customer insights and findings for potentially new ways to drive growth through creative campaigns and copy
  • People management of 1-2 including marketing operations and copywriter (contractor)

Who we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience delivering customer lifecycles across multiple channels, preferably through app marketing.
  • You’ll understand how to deliver a customer lifecycle that delivers both a brand result leading to excitement and engagement as well as a commercial result by driving subscriptions, upsell and retention.
  • Experience of building marketing campaigns from plan, to creative, to copy and implementation in a fast learning start-up environment.
  • You have experience with customer marketing globally and tactics required to make sure a global audiences reads and understands your messaging (we do lead with a US ToV)
  • Demonstrated experience in customer marketing, with creative ideas for making the customer experience the best it can be.
  • Ability to have complex conversations with tech teams, and simplify those complex conversations for non-technical audiences.
  • You have a keen eye for copy and care about the details, to effectively communicate our brand to customers.
  • Ability to work independently, while also being able to build strong internal relationships and consensus on critical initiatives.

Hybrid Environment

We have a flexible work model that supports a blend of in-office and remote workers. You will work from our Sydney or Byron Bay office at least two days a week. You are permitted to work from another location, provided it meets our health and safety requirements.

Salary range

This is a permanent full-time role

$85,000 to $110,000 per annum; plus Superannuation
