Position Summary
The Candidate will be the single point of contact for your account base, so communication and planning will be the key to your success.
The Candidate is expected to take ownership of customer projects on behalf of the business by Co-ordinating the projects (rollouts), communicating with the customer, local warehouse and transport managers.
Accountable for managing business relationships within an allocated customer account base, maintaining and increasing each customer spend and profit across your customer base.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, health and environmental requirements are met on all customer sites.
- Organise daily plan to manage customer workflow of orders, including the cross-dock management of interstate sales.
- Create annual plans & communicate with customer for all peak periods and sales that may impact the volume of deliveries with Operation Managers.
- Maintain & understand customer held stock through - cycle counts and stocktake report to customer.
- Liaise with other members of the Customers regarding product shortages/impacts.
- Maintain & Communicate and train warehouse staff of customers standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Implement & manage key performance indicator (KPI’s) with clients.
- Manage the delivery processes by acting as the single point of contact for the customer and the Account contacts.
- Understand your customers vendors and communicate any changes or specifics to the local state's Operations person.
- Provide customer Quotes working with the general manager.
- Manage bookings and confirmations
- Ensure clients requirements are met consistently, across all the nuances related to the furniture supply chain
- Provide manifest reports for specific customers
- Create & Provide monthly reports for specific customers
- Enhances customer and company business relationships by responding to and resolving service issues raised by customers.
- Optimises customer service focus, retention, growth & profitability by operating to an approved customer management plan and P&L.
- Be available for all training sessions, meetings, stock take and functions organised by the company.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the General Manager

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $66,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
