Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for:
- Work alongside the Customer Relations Liaison Officer
- Promote open and regular communication with Customer Relations Officers Team
- Answer Inbound telephone sales/general enquiries
- Attend and participate in ongoing Taipan Training
- Action orders in the Sales Inbox
- Translate and data entry of sales quotes for existing customers
- Translate and data entry of sales orders
- Manage and process COD customer payments
- Use a collaborative and open approach to resolving customer issues/complaints
- Refer new customer enquiries to the Customer Relations Manager
- Source products externally when required
- Ensure open communication
- Maintain and update company databases
- Comply with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
- Monitor and report on own activity
- Maintain customer backorders
- Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set by the National Sales Manager
- Other duties as requested by Taipan Management
- Hose and fittings product knowledge desirable, but not a requirement
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management
- Advanced Excel skills desirable, but not a requirement
- Valid full driver’s license
- Information and communication technology (ICT) literate
