Job Title: Customer Service Agent

Rates: $34/hr + super
Hours/week: 37.5 hr per week, 7.5 hr per day
Location: 4PSQ, Parramatta - Onsite, working from the office, Monday to Friday.
The Energy Social Programs Branch provides energy rebates and crisis payments worth millions of dollars annually to eligible low income and vulnerable households.
The Customer Service Agent works across either the Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) or Energy Rebates teams to deliver high quality customer service and administration. This includes assessing customer eligibility for government support and working with energy retailers to assist customers with seeking additional supports.
In these roles, you will communicate with customers via phone calls and emails to check their eligibility against an existing framework and discuss with the retailer what support is available to the customer.
You will need to be able to communicate well and with empathy when interacting with vulnerable or stressed customers, delivering high-quality customer service and meeting KPIs.
You will have excellent attention to detail and work with integrity.

Quality customer service preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced call centre environment.
Effective and timely communication skills.
A proactive and can-do attitude.
Experience dealing with broad range of enquiries.
