In this role, you'll:
Become a part of Customer Experience which brings together Customer Service and Operations Delivery to create a seamless journey for our customers.
We provide a strong focus on the operational planning of daily controls in a multi modal transport system and the delivery of exceptional service and safety awareness to our customers.
Sydney Trains comprises of 17 areas, led by our Customer Area Managers. Join Sydney Trains, as we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Customer Service Attendant - Qualified to join our Customer Delivery team.
Step into the full range of station functions including signalling and shunting (receiving and dispatching of trains).
This role requires sound knowledge of diversified policies, procedures and guidelines where you will be expected to work with autonomy.
Coordinate the activities of various functions including train movements whilst facilitating the achievement of team objectives.

About you
- As a Customer Service Attendant- Qualified, you will lead by example while working in a collaborative team environment with a shared passion for customer experience.
- You possess the ability communicate clearly with confidence and engagement whilst building strong ties with the community and your team.
- You will have the opportunity to engage and support a wide range of stakeholders, track activities and execute safety responsibilities, and accountabilities consistent with Sydney Trains.
- Knowledge of Customer service and safety standards
- Effective Customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant Legislation and Authority policies, procedures and guidelines for station operations
- Understanding of basic computer operations and software standards
- Please note: successful candidates will need to undertake background checks and criminal record checks.
- Own transport is beneficial as some shift start times are out of train operating hours.
- You must be available and willing to work rotating shifts including shift work, late nights, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays. Extended hours may be necessary at short notice.
