Expressions of interest are sought from a suitable individual to join the REX Airport team in the role of a Customer Service Coordinator based at Sydney Airport. This will be in the capacity of a full time position.
Reporting:
This position reports to the Sydney Airport Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Liaise between Operations, CSO’s and Ramp regarding daily aircraft operations
- Ensure relevant information is communicated efficiently to appropriate personnel
- Ensure Rex Lounge is set up for breakfast, morning tea, and afternoon snacks and that the lounge is well presented at all times
- Monitor shift rosters and co-ordinate changes as required
- Provision and delegation of all daily planning requirements including flight editing, passenger loads and daily ticket sales
- Management of disrupted services and affected passengers including rebooking and assisting in finding accommodation. Ensure relevant information is communicated efficiently to customers and staff
- Accountable for the safe and efficient on time operation including the reporting of on time performance
- Coach and council staff as required
- Monitor the provision of services by other service providers and ensure performance is in accordance with contractual obligations
- Accountable in the first instance for company procedural and regulatory compliance
- Respond effectively and decisively in an emergency
- Ensure serviceability and presentation of company equipment and facilities
- Monitor and address uniform standards
- Cash handling and balancing of the ASR at end of shift
- Monitor staff meal breaks and ensure effective utilisation of staff
- Other duties as directed by the Airport Manager
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Outstanding Leadership and People Management Skills
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Rex operation
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
- Computer literacy of a high degree including a sound understanding of SABRE
- Excellent knowledge of Rex Policies and Procedures
Conditions:
Wage rates and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Airline Services Collective Agreement 2017-2021 - Level 7.
