The Opportunity:
We are looking for highly driven and customer focussed individuals to join our MyTrust team, who are the gateway to participants achieving their goals with The Disability Trust and have extensive knowledge of the NDIS. Working in our Head Office in Coniston, you will be part of a large and friendly team of professionals.
The Customer Service Officer is the first point of contact in the MyTrust team for our customers. As a team member, you will:
Engage with participants to establish and/or alter their services with The Disability Trust
Liaise with stakeholders with regard to rostering and budgeting
Review and update information and provision of supporting documents
Interpret documentation and reports to maximise client plans
Interpret the NDIS price guide and ensure billing is accurate across participant services
The base annual salary for this position starts at $74,000 including superannuation and will be negotiated based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Regular hours for the position are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. We are offering two full-time opportunities, one permanent role and a fixed-term role of up to 12 months with the possibility for permanency or extension.
About You:
To be the successful candidate, you will have highly-developed customer service and communication skills with a positive, empathetic and professional attitude. You will bring strong analytical, financial and process oriented skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, whilst setting priorities and deadlines.
With a strong understanding of our services, your positive approach to work will be key, as you liaise with operational leaders and support services to proactively problem solve and manage client enquiries. Knowledge of NDIS funding requirements and community services is desired but not essential.
