Due to ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for a Customer Service Officer to join our team at Coolum. The Customer Service Officer will support the Weir Minerals Dewatering business through the effective provision of
timely and effective services, liaison and communication for clients and actively participate in the Customer Service Team.
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide quotations to national and international customers;
- Raising quotations and processing parts orders;
- Co-ordinating export documentation with freight forwarders and communicating with the logistics department for despatching orders;
- Working with the sales, engineering, warehouse & projects teams;
- Answering phone calls & email enquiries for parts & sales leads;
- Provide the primary point of liaison between all direct clients and all internal departments for spare part order entry process and procedure;
- Increase overall customer satisfaction with Weir Minerals Dewatering.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent people skills - you’ve worked in busy customer service roles and are able to deal with a high volume of email traffic and can prioritise accordingly, and you’re passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience every time;
- Great communication and professionalism at every turn;
- A drive to get the details right in the information you provide to our customers and the tasks you complete for them;
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of the overall team;
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Be confident and proactive;
- Previous SAP experience is preferred but not essential.
