Hays are proud to be partnering with an Australian national manufacturing brand, in the recruitment of a Customer Service Officer. They are a leading Australian business that has been in operation for over 120 years. The company has grown and developed a strong reputation both within Australia and internationally, for the quality of its products.
Your new role
Based in the Northern Suburbs, you'll be working on a part-time basis, four days a week, 9am till 5pm. This position you'll provide a high level of Customer Service to Customers, Internal Sales and Manufacturing team members. Key duties could include but not limited to:
- Provide a high level of Customer Service to current and potential customers but providing prompt, accurate and relevant information
- Entering all sales orders and maintaining stock levels
- Ensure credits and invoices and pricing updates are accurately completed.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries and resolve any complaints or warranty claims from customers
- Advising customers on backorders when required
- Ensure that management information reports are completed on time.
- Reception duties
- Support all other areas of Customer Service as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven track record in providing exceptional Customer Service.
- The ability to successfully operate and monitor online systems.
- Adaptability and initiative.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure, balancing competing demands.
- Established record in producing high quality written correspondence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with all company related material and information.
- High level Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
