We’re on the lookout for Customer Service Representatives within our Direct Lending business (who we call Consumer Service Specialists) who genuinely care about having real, meaningful conversations with our customers; and who want to grow their career with us!
As a Consumer Service Specialist, you’ll take inbound calls to build and maintain positive relationships with our existing customers by resolving and identifying their lending enquiries through quality conversations.
Hours and Training:
- Our team operates from 8am until 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8am until 2pm on Saturdays.
- The shifts we have available are Monday to Friday
- Shift times will be Monday, Tuesday & Friday 10am until 18.45pm and Wednesday & Thursday 10am until 17.45pm. Future monthly start and finish times may change based on changing customer needs.
- All new starters will be supported with four weeks of mandatory, full time training in the office (9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday), commencing Monday 21st November.
- The first 12 weeks will be based in the office, and once signed off from the business there is the ability to work from home. There will be fortnightly hub days which are on a Thursday when you are working from home.

You’ll spend time speaking with customers, asking specific questions and learning about their financial situation in order to identify their needs. Your strong customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain a positive relationship with customers by resolving and identifying how to maximise customer lending needs aligned with responsible lending, and ensuring customers are banking as effectively as possible.

Work from home with us
These positions have been designed so you can successfully perform your role in the comfort of your own home AND the office, as we work towards a hybrid work from home model at CBA. All you need is a designated private work area and a fast and stable connection to the internet. You’ll also need to live in an area with adequate mobile coverage or have a home phone line installed - leave the rest to us!
