We are looking for someone who believes in our vision, is obsessed with providing good customer service and is an all rounder. Attention to detail, organisation and a can-do attitude are key characteristics for this role! You will be the first point of call for our salon and wholesale clients, so great communication and a friendly demeanour is a must.
This role would suit someone who is interested in Hair and Beauty and loves working in a fun, feminine environment.

ABOUT YOU
Our customer service role requires excellent customer service in order to build a strong rapport and provide potential clients with all relevant information about our services. The main purpose of the role is to attract and increase quality bookings. This means making bookings, taking deposits and structuring our hairdressers day for efficiency and success.
You will also be at the centre of our online store, which involves taking orders and shipping out stock. You will also be involved in the stock-take and managing stock levels of the salon and warehouse. Yourself and our management team will work together to create a smooth running salon and online wholesale store for everyone to enjoy. You'll also be a part of helping with photo shoots and campaigns to promote our products.
The role is based out of Burleigh Heads with occasional travel to our Hope Island location as required. You will be in direct contact with Hair Candy salon managers and owner, who are just as sweet as the name sounds! You will handle bookings over the phone and via our social media for all salons. We are known for our friendliness, and we would need you to value this just as much as we do.
We are looking for someone that has a thirst for exceeding and getting things done. Organisation is key, along with being someone who is excited by checking off a to-do list. A great listener with the ability to make people feel instantly at ease with exceptional communication skills is a must. Just like our team, our clients are like our family!
Applicants MUST have the following;
- Must be efficient in iMac & iPhone systems
- Familiar with social media usage such as Instagram and Facebook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines and maintain a high quality of work
- Be very neat and organised in all areas of your work
- Prioritise tasks, follow up and focus extreme attention to detail.
- Exceptional personal presentation and hygiene
- Posses excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Experience in a customer service role
