Laundry Box are Melbourne's premier Dry Cleaner and alterations specialists. We are expanding and require dedicated, well presented, customer service focused, reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Customer Service Representatives to help deliver excellent customer service from our Brighton & Elwood stores. Customer service experience required. We are looking for energetic, accountable, hard working, friendly and customer focused people to join our fun and fantastic team.
Full training on our Point of Sale system and cleaning processes is provided. Role includes daily store operations, serving customers for dry cleaning, serviced laundry and alterations needs. Other duties include cash handling responsibilities, while assisting with cleaning and shirt ironing duties while not attending to customers. Work days are from Monday to Saturday with the occasional Sunday when required. Customer service experience is important and flexibility on hours is essential. Fun and friendly environment with good hourly rate.
Key responsibilities for this role are, but no limited to:
- Provide customer service for dry cleaning, laundry and clothing alterations
- Point of sale transactions and cash handling
- Assist the dry cleaning team with shirt ironing on our shirt robot
- Assist the dry cleaning team with wash and fold duties
- Folding and packing customer cleaned doonas
- Assist with general in-store or phone based enquiries
- Liaise with our delivery team for store orders and customer drop offs/pick ups
- General store cleaning and tidying
Skills and experience:
- Must have demonstrated customer service experience (ideally 1 year+ in retail)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of computers and ideally POS systems
- Ability to learn fast and work efficiently
- Ability to operate independently
- Ideally some clothing retail or dry cleaning work experience but not essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week
Salary: $26.73 – $48.11 per hour
