About our client:

Our client is an International freight forwarding company who provides a global air and sea freight services. They pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a friendly work environment for all staff.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Customer service Manager you will be responsible for supervising a team of customer service professionals to deliver outstanding customer service to clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and supervise a team of customer service professionals
  • Manage and deliver excellent customer service to a portfolio of clients
  • Ensure the team utilise CargoWise effectively
  • Deliver performance management and support staff to achieve optimum performance
  • Supervise and make recommendations regarding team structure
  • Effectively manage complex customer service matters escalated by the team
  • Build effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' customer service experience within the Freight Forwarding industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex customer service issues
  • CargoWise 1 experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Import and export sea and air operations experience
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, agents, staff and Management
